Front engine timing cover (also cataloged as Cover â Cylinder Front/Front Cover) for Ford Modular SOHC engines. Encloses the timing chains and guides provides mounting for front accessories and water pump passages and houses the front crankshaft seal. Commonly used on 5.4L SOHC V8 and 6.8L SOHC V10 applications in Eâ Series vans and early-2000s Fâ Series/Super Duty trucks.
